Basics FAQ's

About WallStreet.io

What is WallStreet.io?

WallStreet.io is a strategy lab, charting platform, learning hub, and trader community all in one place.

You can use it to study charts, explore backtested strategies, find potential trade setups, learn from trading education, and connect with other traders who are working through the market too.

The simplest way to think about it is this: WallStreet.io helps you move from “I’m staring at a chart” to “I have a process.” You still make your own trading decisions, but the platform gives you tools, stats, education, and community support so you are not trying to figure everything out from scratch.

What makes WallStreet.io different from other trading platforms?

A lot of trading platforms give you charts, indicators, data, and alerts. Those are useful, but they can still leave you asking,

“Okay, but what am I actually looking for?”

WallStreet.io starts with strategy.

We study market behavior, turn those ideas into rules-based strategies, backtest them, and build tools that help you spot potential opportunities faster. So instead of just giving you more market noise, WallStreet.io helps you filter that noise through tested setups, strategy stats, screeners, and alerts.

You can still use charts and indicators, of course. The difference is that they are part of a bigger system designed to help you find, test, and evaluate opportunities with more structure.

What do you actually help me do as a trader?

WallStreet.io helps you build a more organized trading routine.

You can use the platform to learn, study charts, find potential setups, review strategy stats, track symbols you care about, receive alerts, and connect with other traders in the community.

At its best, WallStreet.io helps you spend less time wondering where to look and more time focusing on what’s actually worth your attention.

What are “opportunity radars”?

Opportunity radars are tools inside WallStreet.io that help bring potential setups to the surface.

Instead of searching through hundreds of symbols one by one, you can use screeners, strategies, alerts, fundamentals, seasonality, and other tools to help narrow your focus.

Think of an opportunity radar like a smart filter. It watches the market through a specific set of rules, such as a technical pattern, strategy condition, momentum setup, or seasonal tendency.

From there, you can review the chart, check the stats, consider the risk, and decide what fits your approach.

Who it is for

Who is WallStreet.io best for?

WallStreet.io is best for traders and investors who want a more structured way to find, study, and evaluate market opportunities.

Some members use it for short-term trading. Others use it for swing trades, options trades, longer-term investing, or value-based research. The common thread is that they want more than just a chart. They want tools, stats, education, and a community that can help them build a clearer process.

You do not have to trade the same way everyone else does. WallStreet.io gives you a set of tools you can adapt to your own style, timeframe, and risk comfort.

How much money do I need to get started?

There’s no set amount you need to have to get started.

A lot of people begin by learning first and getting comfortable with how the market works before putting significant money at risk. Many traders use paper trading to practice in a simulated environment, so they can test ideas and build confidence without using real money. Even experienced traders go back to paper trading when they want to try something new or see how a strategy would behave.

Your starting amount will depend on your personal situation, your broker, and even where you live, so it’s not one-size-fits-all.

What matters more than the amount is building a process you understand. WallStreet.io is designed to help you learn how to read setups, explore strategies, and develop your approach so you can make decisions with more clarity over time.

If you’re feeling unsure, that’s completely normal. You don’t need to have everything figured out on day one. The goal is to start learning, take it step by step, and grow into it at your own pace.

Is WallStreet.io beginner-friendly?

Yes! WallStreet.io is built to support both newer traders and more experienced members.

If you are just getting started, this Knowledge Base includes free guides to help you understand the platform, learn the basic workflows, and get comfortable with the tools. Premium members also get access to deeper education, including courses on swing trading, options trading, income trading, and more.

Premium members can also schedule one-on-one Zoom walkthroughs with someone from our team. These sessions are a great way to learn the ropes, ask questions, and get more comfortable navigating the platform.

You do not need to know everything before you begin, though. The goal is to help you build confidence one step at a time.

Do you focus on stocks, options, or both?

WallStreet.io is built around stocks available on U.S. stock exchanges, but many of our members also use the platform to help with options trading.

The platform helps you study price action, review strategy stats, scan for potential setups, and track opportunities. From there, you can decide whether a setup fits your own trading plan, whether that means stock trades, options trades, or simply learning before placing any trades at all.

So the short answer is: the platform focuses on stocks, but many traders use those stock-based setups as part of an options trading process.

Is this better for swing traders, day traders, or longer-term traders?

WallStreet.io was built with swing traders and longer-term investors in mind, but members use it in different ways.

Swing traders can use the platform to look for multi-day setups, review strategy stats, and track potential opportunities. Longer-term investors can use the charts, fundamentals, seasonality, and broader research tools to study stocks over time.

Some members also adapt the tools to their intraday trading. That is not the original core focus of the platform, but many traders have found ways to use WallStreet.io’s frameworks, charts, and community insights as part of a shorter-term routine.

The best fit depends on your style. The platform gives you the structure, and you decide how to apply it.

Do I need to watch the market all day for this to be useful?

No, you do not need to watch the market all day to get value from WallStreet.io.

There is a learning curve at first because the platform includes a lot of tools, features, and education. But once you get comfortable, the goal is to help you work with more focus instead of staring at charts all day trying to catch everything yourself.

Tools like screeners, strategies, alerts, watchlists, and saved layouts are designed to help you narrow your attention. You still make your own decisions, but the platform can help bring potential opportunities to the surface faster.

How much time should I expect to spend each day or week?

That depends on your goals, experience level, and how involved you want to be.

Some members attend live sessions regularly, spend time in the community chatrooms, review charts, and make WallStreet.io part of their daily routine. Others use the platform in a much lighter way, spending around 15 minutes a day reviewing alerts, checking charts, or looking at saved watchlists.

You do not have to attend every live session to benefit from the platform. Replays are uploaded so you can watch them at your own pace, and many tools are designed to help you stay organized even when you are not watching the market all day.

The best routine is the one you can actually stick with. Start small, learn the basics, and build from there.

What you can do

How do you find trade ideas inside the platform?

WallStreet.io gives you several ways to find potential trade ideas, depending on how you like to work.

You can use opportunity radars like the Screener and Strategies tab to surface potential setups based on specific conditions, filters, or backtested strategies. You can also use Strategy Builder to test your own ideas and see how a set of rules would have performed historically.

Live Meetups, including sessions like Swing Trading, Gino Live, and Market Recap, give you a chance to hear how Micah and other contributors are reading the current market. The community chatrooms and Community Wall also give members a place to discuss stocks, ETFs, market conditions, and trading ideas in real time.

If you want to build your own skill set, the Education area is there to help you learn different approaches so you can get better at spotting opportunities yourself.

In other words, you can use WallStreet.io to find ideas through tools, strategies, education, live sessions, and community discussion.

Do you send trade alerts or just surface setups?

WallStreet.io can send strategy notifications when a subscribed strategy changes status, such as when it starts or ends.

You can receive those notifications by email and, depending on your settings, inside the platform. These alerts are based on strategy conditions, not personal recommendations.

You can also create price alerts for specific price levels, and some tools allow alerts based on Heikin-Ashi doji breakout levels.

The goal is to help you know when something worth reviewing may be happening, so you can take a closer look and decide what fits your own trading plan.

Do I build my own strategies, or can I use pre-built ones?

Both!

If you want a simpler starting point, you can explore pre-built strategies inside the platform. These let you review existing strategy ideas, check their stats, and subscribe to the ones you want to monitor.

If you prefer to be more hands-on, you can use Strategy Builder to create or customize your own rules-based strategies. This is helpful if you have an idea you want to test, compare, or refine.

You can start with pre-built strategies and move into building your own as you get more comfortable.

Does the platform help me narrow down which stocks to focus on?

Yes. That is one of the main reasons WallStreet.io exists.

The platform is designed to help you narrow your focus instead of searching through the market one symbol at a time. Screeners, strategies, alerts, watchlists, fundamentals, seasonality, and chart tools all work together to help you find stocks that may be worth a closer look.

Many members also learn Gino’s “Market, Sector, Setup” approach through his live streams. It is a top-down way of looking at the market so you can start with the broader picture, narrow into stronger sectors, and then look for specific setups.

The goal is not to look at everything. The goal is to know where your attention is most useful.

How do I know whether a strategy is worth following?

The best place to start is our guide called Evaluate a Strategy Before Subscribing.

In general, you want to look beyond the name of a strategy and review its stats, trade history, risk profile, average trade length, batting average, and how it has behaved across different market conditions.

A strategy may look interesting at first glance, but the stats help you decide whether it fits your style, timeframe, and risk comfort.

Will WallStreet.io tell me exactly what to buy and sell?

WallStreet.io provides tools, education, backtested strategies, alerts, and market research to help you find and evaluate potential opportunities.

We do not make personal trading decisions for you. The platform can show you when certain strategy conditions are met, but you decide whether a setup fits your own trading plan, risk tolerance, and broker account.

Think of WallStreet.io as a decision-support platform. It helps bring useful information and potential setups to the surface, but you stay in control of what you do next.

Are you financial advisors?

No. WallStreet.io is not a registered broker-dealer or investment advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission or with any state securities regulatory authority.

WallStreet.io is designed for education, research, and platform-based analysis. It is not a personalized trade advisory service.

Past results from any trading system, strategy, or methodology do not guarantee future results. You should always make your own trading decisions and consider speaking with a qualified financial professional about your personal situation.

Can I execute trades directly from the platform?

No. WallStreet.io does not place trades or connect directly to your brokerage account for trade execution.

You will need your own brokerage account to place, manage, or close trades. WallStreet.io helps you research, analyze, and monitor potential opportunities, then you decide what action to take through your broker.

Plans and access

What do I get on the free plan?

The free Essential plan gives you access to several core WallStreet.io tools and learning resources, so you can explore the platform and start getting familiar with how everything works.

Essential members can access features such as Smart Charts, Community Watchlists, the Financial Window, Seasonality Charts, Smart Studies, platform-related live streams, the instructional video library, and Knowledge Base support.

Some platform access and features may vary as we continue updating WallStreet.io, especially during the transition into our newer 4.0 experience. If something looks different from what you see in a guide or video, it may simply be part of that transition.

What extra features do I get with premium?

Premium members get everything included in the Essential plan, plus deeper tools for finding, studying, and tracking opportunities.

This includes Strategy Notification email alerts, Technical Screeners, the Strategy Builder, the Fundamentals tab, the Advanced Stats panel, the Community Wall, Trader Chatrooms, eligible Live Streams (including Micah’s Swing Trading Live Meetups every Monday and Gino Live every day), and one-on-one onboarding support via Zoom.

Premium is designed for members who want a more complete trading workflow, including stronger research tools, more community access, and strategy-based notifications that help them stay closer to the setups they care about.

Can I try the premium tools before committing?

Yes. WallStreet.io offers trial options so you can explore premium features before choosing a full membership.

We currently offer a free 14-day All-Access Trial when you register with your phone number. We also offer a 30-day All-Access Trial for $20 during select promotions.

Trials are a good way to explore the platform, attend live sessions, test the tools, and see whether the premium experience fits the way you want to learn and trade.

How do I cancel my membership?

To pause, downgrade, or request the membership cancellation form, please email our Support team at:

support@wallstreet.io

When you complete the cancellation prompts, your premium membership is set to cancel at the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your account will be downgraded to the free Essential plan, and you will not be charged again for a WallStreet.io membership.

Please keep in mind that when a premium membership ends, custom filters, strategy alerts, watchlists, and other premium data are deleted from our databases at the end of the current billing cycle.

If you want to take a break without losing your setup, pausing may be a better option. Pausing your membership stops future membership charges indefinitely and helps preserve your custom data, such as filters, watchlists, and strategies, for when you return.

You can review our Cancellation Policy here:

https://wallstreet.io/p/cancellation-policy

What happens to my saved work if I downgrade or cancel?

If your premium membership ends, your custom filters, strategy alerts, watchlists, and other personalized premium data are deleted from our databases at the end of your billing cycle.

If you want to keep your setup intact but need to take a break, you may have the option to pause your membership indefinitely instead of canceling. Pausing lets you save any remaining paid premium time and helps preserve your custom data while your membership is paused.

This can be helpful if you are stepping away for a while but do not want to rebuild your workspace later.

Can I get a refund on the membership renewal?

Membership renewals are non-refundable once the billing date has passed.

When a renewal is processed, the membership access continues for the new billing period, and a portion of the payment is immediately committed to Engineering work and merchant fees that cannot be recovered.

To avoid future renewal charges, make sure to cancel before your next billing date. You can review the full terms in our Cancellation Policy:

https://wallstreet.io/p/cancellation-policy

Getting started

How do I log into the WallStreet.io platform?

You can log into WallStreet.io from your computer by going to:

https://wallstreet.io/login

Enter the email address associated with your account, or your username, then click Next.

From there, enter your password and click Login.

If you forgot your password, click Forgot password? and we’ll send a one-time code to your email address.

If you have not created a password yet, we’ll also send a one-time six-digit code to your email address. Enter that code on the login page as soon as you receive it, then click Verify.

Once you’re inside the platform, we recommend creating a password from your Account page so logging in is easier next time.

What should I do first after joining?

Start by creating a password for your account so you can log in more easily going forward.

After that, head to the Education Workspace and watch Gino’s Getting Started video series. It’s one of the easiest ways to get familiar with the platform without feeling like you have to figure everything out alone.

Then, review the Web Platform Quick-Start Guide in this Knowledge Base. That guide will help you understand the main areas of the platform, where things are located, and how to begin exploring.

From there, you can use the menu on the left side of the Knowledge Base to keep learning at your own pace.

What is the fastest way to get comfortable with the platform?

The fastest way is to combine three things: watch the Getting Started videos, use the Knowledge Base, and schedule a walkthrough if your membership includes one.

All-Access members can schedule a complimentary one-on-one Zoom walkthrough with someone from our team. During this session, we’ll help you get familiar with the platform’s essential features, show you where key tools live, and answer your questions.

These sessions are especially helpful if you are brand new, returning after some time away, or simply want someone to walk you through the basics instead of clicking around on your own.

Many members find that a quick walkthrough makes the platform feel much less overwhelming.

What should I focus on first if I feel overwhelmed?

Start small.

WallStreet.io has a lot inside it, so you do not need to learn everything on day one. The best first step is to get comfortable with the basics: logging in, opening the Charts Workspace, finding a symbol, using a watchlist, and understanding where the main tools live.

After that, focus on one simple workflow. For example, you might start by opening a chart, choosing a stock you recognize, reviewing the watchlist area, and then looking at one related strategy or screener result.

You can save the more advanced tools, like Strategy Builder, Fundamentals, and deeper strategy stats, for later.

The goal is not to master the whole platform in one sitting. The goal is to build a simple routine you understand, then add more tools as they start to make sense.

Using the Platform

What device and browser should I use for the best experience?

For the best experience, we recommend using WallStreet.io on a desktop or laptop with Google Chrome, Brave, or Mozilla Firefox.

The platform includes charts, panels, tabs, screeners, and other tools that need more screen space than a phone or tablet can comfortably provide. Some areas may look different or may not work as smoothly on smartphones, tablets, Safari, Edge, or other unsupported browsers.

If something looks off, the first thing we recommend is opening WallStreet.io on a desktop or laptop using Chrome, Brave, or Firefox.

How do I make more room on my screen?

You can make more room by collapsing or resizing areas you are not actively using.

In the Charts Workspace, the right-side panel area contains tools like Watchlists, Chatrooms, and Alerts. You can collapse this area by clicking the Minimize Sidebar arrow near the top-right of that panel.

You can also collapse the strategy area at the bottom of the Charts Workspace by clicking the Minimize line icon near the top-right of that area.

This is helpful when you want more space for the chart itself, especially on smaller screens.

How do I switch between light mode and dark mode?

You can change your platform theme from your Account settings.

Click your Profile Avatar at the bottom-left of the platform, then select Account. From there, open Appearance from the options near the upper-left side of the Account page.

You can choose between Light, Gray, or Dark theme options.

How do I increase or decrease the platform font size?

You can adjust the platform font size from your Account settings.

Click your Profile Avatar at the bottom-left of the platform, then select Account. From there, open Appearance from the options near the upper-left side of the Account page.

Under Font Size, you can choose between Regular and Large.

How do I save the way my screen is set up?

You can save and reuse your workspace setup by using Custom Layouts and Favorites.

Custom Layouts let you save chart setups so you can return to them later without rebuilding everything from scratch. Favorites help you create quick-access shortcuts for the tools and settings you use most often, such as chart types, indicators, drawings, layouts, watchlists, and more.

This is a great way to make the platform feel more like your own workspace instead of starting from a blank screen each time.

Why does my platform look different from Gino’s or Micah’s?

Gino and Micah have customized their workspaces over time with specific layouts, chart settings, studies, watchlists, and visual preferences.

You can customize your workspace too. A good place to start is the Get Set Up Like Gino article, which walks you through how to set up your Charts Workspace so it more closely matches the way Gino uses his during live sessions.

Your setup does not have to look exactly like anyone else’s. The goal is to build a workspace that helps you see what matters most to you.

Where do I find my account settings?

Click your Profile Avatar at the bottom-left of the platform, then select Account.

From the Account page, you can manage areas like your profile, appearance settings, billing information, password, and other account-related options.

What should I do if something isn’t working or looks off?

If something is stuck, missing, not loading correctly, or looks different than expected, start with our Troubleshooting Guide.

That guide walks you through the most common fixes, including refreshing the platform, checking your browser, trying a private or incognito window, and clearing site data when needed.

Contact and Support

Do you offer 1-on-1 mentorship or private coaching?

All-Access members can schedule complimentary 15-minute one-on-one walkthrough meetings through Zoom.

These sessions are focused on helping you get comfortable with the platform. A team member can show you where key features are located, explain how to navigate the platform, and help you understand how to make better use of the tools available with your membership.

At this time, private mentorship or personal coaching sessions with WallStreet.io mentors or contributors are not available as part of the standard membership.

We may offer special coaching or mentorship opportunities in the future through seasonal add-on programs, promotions, or special events.

Do you offer phone support?

At the moment, we do not offer phone support or have a direct support phone number.

Our support team is fully remote, and we handle support through chat and email so each request can be properly tracked, reviewed, and resolved.

If you want a more personal walkthrough of the platform, All-Access members can schedule a one-on-one Zoom session with our team. These sessions are helpful for learning how to navigate the platform and use the main features.

Account-related requests, such as cancellations, billing updates, or technical issues, still need to be handled through our support channels so we can process them correctly.

I have another question. How do I contact you?

You can contact our Support team by emailing:

support@wallstreet.io

You can also reach us through the Support chat inside the platform.

For the fastest help, include the email address connected to your WallStreet.io account and a detailed description of what you need.

If you are reporting a technical issue, it also helps to include the browser and device you are using.
