Find Pre-Built Strategies
What this helps you do
This guide helps you find Pre-Built Strategies inside the Strategies area so you can start exploring rule-based ideas that already have historical results behind them. It matters because discovering these strategies is the first step before you evaluate them, subscribe to them, and integrate them into your daily routine.
Open the Strategies area
From the Charts workspace, look at the bottom of the screen for the Strategy Bar.
Click Strategies.
You will see a table of strategies underneath the chart. Each row represents a strategy, with information such as the stock symbol, status, profile icon, and key performance highlights.
Browse all Community strategies
If you want to see everything that is available, start with the Community view.
In the Strategies table, make sure the Community option is selected instead of Subscriptions.
Use the Stock Filter dropdown above the table to choose what symbols you want to see:
This is the quickest way to move from “everything in the library” to a list that is anchored to the stocks you already care about.
Use Filters to find stronger or more specific ideas
Because there are hundreds of thousands of strategies in the system, the Filter panel is the main tool for narrowing down results.
In the Strategies area, click the Filter button above the table. This opens the Filter panel as a side pop-up.
On the Filters tab you can see many options, including Status, Types, Conditions, performance sliders, and more.
You do not need to adjust everything. Many traders start with just one or two simple choices and refine from there. The goal is to reduce the list to strategies that match your basic preferences rather than to build a perfect filter on the first try.
For a deeper walkthrough of each option in this panel, see the dedicated Filters in the Strategies Tab guide.
Find Top Rated strategies with a single setting
If you want to quickly focus on strategies that have scored well in Wallstreet.io’s evaluation model, you can use the Top Rated type inside the Filter panel.
Open the Filter panel.
In the Types section, click Top Rated.
Close the panel.
The strategies table will update to show results that match the Top Rated selection. These are strategies that have performed well historically according to the platform’s scoring system. You can still combine Top Rated with other filters if you want to focus on a specific symbol set or performance range.
Use saved filter sets for a quick starting point
Inside the Filter panel there is also a Saved tab. This gives you access to:
Pre-built filter sets created by Wallstreet.io, which you can use as shortcuts to find common types of strategies.
Any custom filter sets you create and save for yourself.
You can select a saved set to apply its filters in one click, then make small adjustments if needed. Over time you can create and favorite your own saved filters so you can quickly return to views that you find useful, such as “short term swings on my watchlist” or “high batting average strategies on the current stock.”
For detailed steps on creating, saving, and favoriting filter sets, see the Filters in the Strategies Tab guide.
What to do after you find a strategy
Once you see a strategy that looks promising, the next step is to open it and take a closer look. Start by reviewing the overview panel and profile chart to get a quick feel for its behavior. You can then look at the historic trades and chart shading to see how those rules would have played out on real price movement.
If you want structured help, you can follow the guides in this order:
Once you are confident that a strategy belongs in your workflow, you can:
When you are ready to take the next step, move on to Evaluate a Strategy before Subscribing. That guide will help you turn any strategy you find into a clear “yes,” “no,” or “maybe later” decision.
